CQDM. We do it.

During the lung cancer awareness month, CQDM is proud to announce its participation in this project to predict lung cancer risk. The research project of the team of Philippe Joubert and Yohan Bossé of the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec – Université Laval consist on the development and evaluation of a multimodal approach to predict lung cancer risk and determine EGFR mutation profile in a lung cancer screening population. By working with private biotech companies well established in the province of Quebec and worldwide leaders in their field, it will be possible to rapidly scale up the technologies to be applied in our population.

This project is being carried out in collaboration with the co-investigators Venkata Manem, Simon Martel, Gabriella Albert and Philippe Després of the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec – Université Laval as well as Jean-François Haince of Biomark Diagnostics Inc and Ryan Demers of AstraZeneca. CQDM also thanks its project funding partners: Pfizer Canada, Ministère de l’Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie du Québec (MEIE), Fondation IUCPQ, Biomark Diagnostics Inc and AstraZeneca.
