It is with deep gratitude and admiration that we thank Brian Underdown for his years of service as a member of the CQD Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) since 2019 and as SAB Chairman since June 2021.
Under Brian’s leadership, 49 projects have been recommended by the SAB, representing a total value of $85M. These projects brought together 126 collaborators and partners from diverse sectors and led to the creation of 258 essential resources, including platforms, tools, therapeutic solutions, and more.
During our recent meeting, we had the pleasure of presenting Brian with a symbolic gift: a piece of art by a Quebec artist representing a drop of water.
In life sciences, a single drop of water symbolizes vitality, interconnectedness, and resilience – values that perfectly mirror Brian’s pivotal role with CQDM. His visionary leadership has guided our organization, fostered innovation, and driven the growth of our mission.
Thank you, Brian, for your dedication, insight, and exceptional contributions. Your legacy will continue to inspire the life sciences ecosystem for years to come.
Please join us in wishing Brian a wonderful retirement and celebrating his years of extraordinary service! 👏
