Diane Gosselin Honoured by BIOTECanada for Outstanding Leadership in Health Innovation

CQDM is proud to highlight a major recognition awarded to its outgoing President and CEO, Diane Gosselin, who received the Community Leadership Award – Research & Innovation as part of BIOTECanada’s Gold Leaf Awards 2025.

The award was presented in Boston, during the BIO 2025 International Convention—one of the world’s largest gatherings in the biopharmaceutical sector.

A Pioneer of Collaborative Research in Quebec

Diane Gosselin co-founded CQDM in 2008 and served as its President and CEO from 2012 to 2025. Throughout her tenure, she brought a bold and unifying vision that helped position the consortium as a leader in collaborative biopharmaceutical research funding.

Through her leadership and ability to build bridges between academia and industry, CQDM successfully brought together 16 major international pharmaceutical companies around a unique public-private partnership model. This innovative approach supported the development of over 200 breakthrough technologies, contributing to safer, more effective, and truly transformative therapies for patients.

A Well-Deserved Recognition

This award not only highlights Diane’s accomplishments at CQDM, but also her unwavering commitment to the life sciences ecosystem in Quebec and across Canada. Her vision, perseverance, and collaborative spirit have left a lasting mark on the health innovation landscape.
