COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING COORDINATOR

CQDM is a biopharmaceutical research consortium whose mission is to fund the development
of innovative tools and technologies that accelerate the development of safe and effective
drugs. We bring together world-leading pharmaceutical organizations, several Canadian
biotech companies, the best researchers from the public and private sectors, as well as the

The Communications and Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in CQDM’s outreach.

Create and manage engaging digital content for various platforms (website, social media,
etc.).

  • Design and organize engaging events for the biopharmaceutical (B2B) community,
    developing innovative concepts and ensuring careful planning.
  • Increase the visibility of events by implementing effective pre- and post-event
    communication strategies and creating promotional material to maximize the impact of
    initiatives.
  • Analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness
    and propose recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications media used by the organization.
  • Contribute actively to the organization’s strategic communications/marketing plan.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other team members to support the company’s overall
    communications and marketing objectives.
  • Undergraduate degree in communications or marketing
  • Three to five years’ experience in communications and/or marketing
  • Relevant experience in communications/marketing plan execution
  • Experience in web content management and optimization
  • Experience in the life sciences industry and knowledge of the main players in the
    ecosystem are assets
  • Perfectly bilingual, with an excellent command of written English and French
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software
  • Knowledge of digital communications tools such as WordPress, Cyberimpact (or similar)
    and Canva
  • Knowledge of Google Ads
  • Strong writing and content creation skills
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Rigor in coordination, organization and implementation
  • Effective prioritization skills and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Speed of execution and simplicity of processes
