Private companies based in Quebec with biopharmaceutical-related activities are invited to propose postdoctoral internship positions for new doctoral graduates, future awardees of the Gordon Shore Prize. Award sponsors, CQDM, Diazon Pharmaceuticals and Mitacs will finance 50% of these postdoctoral internships. The company must agree to pay the other half of the new graduate’s salary.
The application and the obtaining of the financing do not require the preliminary recruitment of the new doctoral graduate. Moreover, for this 2nd annual prize there will be no prior selection of postdoctoral internship offered by the private companies (up to 15 offers). These offers will all be presented to the new doctoral graduates who will have the opportunity to apply for one or more of them. The Prize sponsors, in collaboration with the private company, will select the best candidates across Quebec. The candidate’s excellence and fit with the company will determine the two awardees.
