Alysia Melnychuk joined CQDM in October 2022 as Senior Director of accounting and finance. Before joining CQDM, Alysia directed the administration and finance team at Santé Cannabis, a research clinic specialised in medical cannabis. Her abilities allowed Santé Cannabis to accurately identify needs and risks, and to propose innovative ideas and revolutionary solutions, and she was able to effectively collaborate with her colleagues to create successful strategies. Her impact was evidenced through the implementation of cutting-edge project management tools and significant operational changes, thus reinforcing the efficacy of services and project success. As vice-president of administration and finance, she had a major impact on the organization before joining CQDM.

Alysia began her university studies in 2013, obtaining a baccalaureate in accounting before obtaining her CPA diploma.

An entrepreneur at heart, Alysia launched her own business specialized in the sale of hand-made soaps. She quickly became a benchmark in the field, and her business expanded to include workshops and supplies for tradespeople and DIY enthusiasts. Under her management, the business, which already had over 20 employees by 2016, experienced rapid growth, driven by her creativity, intuition and innate flair for business.

Alysia, a knitting enthusiast who finds this art form a way of creating and expressing her creativity. Her home is full of the love she has for her family and her two cats. She also excels in woodcraft, transforming raw materials into unique pieces full of character.
