Thomas Molina joined CQDM in August 2026 as an Innovation Advisor. Before joining the organization, Thomas worked at the intersection of scientific research, innovation, financing, and entrepreneurial support. He was notably involved with Front Row Ventures, where he assessed investment opportunities and took part in the due diligence process for early-stage biotechnology and health companies. He also worked with the operations team at NEXT AI, an experience that gave him deeper insight into the real-world challenges innovative startups face as they grow.

Thomas holds a PhD in physiology from the Université de Montréal, completed at the CHU Sainte-Justine Research Centre, as well as a master’s degree in animal physiology from the University of Toulouse. His doctoral research focused on Duchenne muscular dystrophy, muscle regeneration, and the exploration of innovative therapeutic approaches. This path allowed him to develop strong scientific expertise in the life sciences, which he now brings to his work supporting the emergence of high-impact collaborative projects.

On a personal note, Thomas enjoys a good challenge, whether it comes in the form of steep trails or blank pages waiting to be filled. A trail runner, swimmer, and hiker, he is no stranger to long distances—whether covered outdoors or through the writing of novels and short stories.
