Bio

Sandra Constantin joined the CQDM team in June 2021 as Project Manager of Scientific Affairs. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher in medicinal chemistry at the Sherbrooke Institute of Pharmacology at Sherbrooke University.
Sandra holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical science, awarded in 2016 by the faculty of Pharmacology at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iasi, Romania. Her multidisciplinary research topic focused on synthesizing new organic molecules, their utilization in the development of new delivery systems, and the study of their activity in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Sandra also worked in the Pharmaceutical Chemistry department as an assistant professor at the same university for five years. Over the course of her scientific career, she has also completed several international research internships in different academic laboratories in France and Japan.

Sandra enjoys dancing, particularly salsa. She loves to be carried away by the bewitching rhythms of the music. In winter, she enjoys putting on her skates and gracefully skating on the ice. Her overwhelming enthusiasm is demonstrated through her dancing and skating, where she lets her creativity run wild.
