Bio
Kristin Davis joined CQDM in April 2025, bringing over five years of experience in research funding from both the grant administration and recipient perspectives. She has successfully managed complex, interdisciplinary projects and funding programs across a range of scientific and health-related fields, including public health, molecular biology, and psychiatry.
Kristin holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Guelph and a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from McGill University. Her academic background, combined with her hands-on experience in the research ecosystem, gives her a deep understanding of the scientific, operational, and strategic dimensions of funding and innovation.
Outside of her professional life, Kristin is an avid runner. She is currently on an ambitious mission to complete all six Abbott World Marathon Majors, with three already under her belt. A passionate traveler and foodie, she also enjoys exploring new cultures through their cuisine.
