The Communications and Marketing Coordinator plays an important role in the coordination and execution of CQDM’s communications and marketing plan. Working closely with the Senior Director – Communications and Marketing, you will help reinforce CQDM’s brand image with target audiences and ensure the delivery of consistent and impactful messages to promote CQDM. You will also be responsible for organizing and actively participating in CQDM’s events within the ecosystem.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and actively contribute to the execution of the organization’s strategic communications/marketing plan.
  • Write and publish marketing content, such as press releases, scientific publications, presentations, newsletters and brochures.
  • Maintain brand guidelines and templates and ensure their proper use by internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all communications media used by the organization.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with other team members to support the company’s overall communications and marketing objectives.
  • Responsible for disseminating content on the CQDM website and other media defined in CQDM’s strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze results of communications/marketing campaigns, identify trends and recommend adjustments to optimize performance.
  • Ensure the organization of CQDM events, while communicating these to targeted audiences to encourage participation. Maintain a post-event satisfaction follow-up to respond adequately to participants’ needs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Undergraduate degree in communications or marketing
  • Five to ten years’ experience in communications and/or marketing
  • Relevant experience in communications/marketing plan development and execution
  • Experience in web content management and optimization
  • Experience in the life sciences industry and knowledge of the main players in the ecosystem are assets


SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Perfectly bilingual, with an excellent command of written English and French
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite software
  • Knowledge of digital communications tools such as WordPress, Cyberimpact (or similar) and Canva
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and LinkedIn Marketing Solutions
  • Strong writing and content creation skills
  • Self-starter with initiative
  • Meticulous attention to detail at every stage of project and event management and coordination
  • Effective prioritization skills and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Speed of execution and simplicity of processes
  • Rigor in coordination, organization and implementation
  • Dynamism, curiosity, collaboration, team spirit and a strong sense of belonging
