At BIOHorizon, CQDM announced the launch of two new resources designed to support the development of Quebec’s biopharmaceutical start-ups: a white paper<\/strong> highlighting the sector’s key challenges and an interactive directory<\/strong> of support resources available across Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made possible through AReNA, Quebec’s RNA Hub, this initiative is part of a broader effort to help entrepreneurs access the expertise, programs and opportunities they need to advance their projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Better Understanding the Challenges Facing Quebec Biotechs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Developing a therapeutic innovation is a complex journey that requires specialized resources, funding and access to expertise that can be difficult to secure during the early stages of growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To better understand these challenges, CQDM conducted a study based on more than 60 consultations with entrepreneurs, investors, support organizations and industry stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The resulting white paper<\/strong> highlights seven major challenges<\/strong> faced by biopharmaceutical start-ups, along with five actionable recommendations<\/strong> aimed at strengthening their ability to reach critical milestones, create value and attract investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Interactive Directory to Navigate the Ecosystem More Effectively<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Quebec benefits from a broad network of organizations offering mentorship, training, networking opportunities and support services for innovative companies. However, entrepreneurs often face challenges in identifying the most relevant resources for their stage of development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To address this need, CQDM developed an interactive biotech support directory<\/strong> designed to help entrepreneurs identify the organizations, programs and expertise best suited to their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The tool makes it easier to navigate the ecosystem and discover support opportunities available throughout Quebec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
