A look back at Connect\u2011Bio at Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
On April 7, more than 180 participants gathered at Polytechnique Montr\u00e9al at the initiative of PROTEO and the CQDM for the Connect\u2011Bio event, united by a shared goal: advancing biofabrication in Qu\u00e9bec through collaboration across the ecosystem<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The event highlighted the critical role of protein biofabrication in the development of biotechnology, bringing together expertise from the academic, industrial, and institutional sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Protein biofabrication: current challenges and future outlook<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
At the heart of the program were in\u2011depth discussions on the current and emerging challenges of protein biofabrication, a strategic field for innovation in biotechnology and life sciences. Key topics included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n
scientific and technological challenges related to the industrialization of biofabrication;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
the conditions required to accelerate the transition from research to industrial application;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
the importance of building a strong, well\u2011connected ecosystem to support innovation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Meaningful exchanges across the ecosystem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The panel brought together recognized leaders in the field, whose complementary expertise fostered insightful discussions on the future of biofabrication in Qu\u00e9bec.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
