This unique gathering will showcase <strong>16 Canadian start-ups<\/strong>, each presenting their innovative research projects to an audience of leading pharmaceutical companies, investors, and key life sciences organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This event offers a unique opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Engage directly with international pharmaceutical companies and venture capital firms<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build connections with influential players in Canada\u2019s life sciences ecosystem<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discover the finalists and winners of the 2026 edition, which will award <strong>three prizes: first prize, second prize, and the Coup de c\u0153ur award<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc49 Stay tuned for more details about this exciting day filled with collaborations and opportunities!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn more: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bioquebec.com\/en\/evenement\/journee-biopharm-a-sucre\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Journ\u00e9e Biopharm-\u00e0-sucre &#8211; BIOQu\u00e9bec<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Awards<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>During the event, three awards will be presented among the \u201cSweet 16\u201d finalists:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1st Prize: $25,000<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2nd Prize: $15,000<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coup de c\u0153ur Award: $10,000<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application process<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested companies must submit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A two-page executive summary<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A short presentation (maximum of five slides) highlighting their technology, therapeutic targets, and differentiating factors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications must be submitted through the online form (available soon) <strong>no later than Sunday, February 28, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (ET)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partnering pharmaceutical companies will review the applications and select the <strong>16 start-ups<\/strong> that will participate.
