We bring together world-leading pharmaceutical organizations, several Canadian<br>biotech companies, the best researchers from the public and private sectors, as well as the<br>Qu\u00e9bec and Canadian governments. Our collaborative approach bridges the funding gap<br>needed to drive innovation, especially where early-stage research is concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3463a07262131743a5d0cf5f34336f1e\"><br><strong>POSITION SUMMARY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reporting to the Director, Scientific Affairs, the incumbent will be actively involved in several<br>aspects of CQDM&#8217;s multidisciplinary and collaborative projects, including primarily the<br>coordination of projects under their supervision to ensure that the established objectives and<br>milestones are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-c60aed9513def79b38a455181adcb31a\"><br><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The incumbent will actively participate, in close collaboration with several members of the<br>CQDM team, in the planning, follow-up and execution of the projects funded by CQDM. If<br>needed, the incumbent could also be called upon to contribute to the project evaluation<br>process or, more broadly, to any other activity related to the financing of innovation projects.<br>Specifically, the incumbent will have to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Act as a resource person for CQDM funded projects throughout the process.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate closely with CQDM&#8217;s business development team to ensure the proper<br>transfer of knowledge related to the projects under their supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regularly inquire with the researchers on the progress of the work planned for each<br>project under their supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all required documents are sent and received on time and according to the<br>requirements of CQDM, its funding partners and funders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Take charge of the document management and logistics of the processes related to the<br>various projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In collaboration with the researchers funded by the CQDM, establish the Gantt chart to<br>follow the progress of projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow up on the achievement of CQDM funded project milestones and deliverables and<br>collaborate with the CQDM team and researchers to identify solutions to problems<br>encountered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor several performance indicators related to CQDM funded projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participate in project monitoring and committee meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any other related tasks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7f7484955ffd45f76c9415c4f249ba60\"><strong>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a life science discipline<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training or experience in project management (an asset), or program management,<br>research funding or equivalent:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge and\/or experience of the medical science research environment and the<br>drug discovery and development process (an asset)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good knowledge of the academic and industrial research networks in Quebec (an asset)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-a9ebce102c2b498da908bac61a9a11d9\"><strong>REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bilingual, with excellent written English and French<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent organizational skills, thoroughness, and attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact and communicate with internal and<br>external stakeholders<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Initiative, leadership, and autonomy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work well in a team environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b05b51cc7ee843050e31f692fbbb8dba\"><strong>START DATE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immediately<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-3106a12d6da58a14c5c0db84fb511ed3\"><strong>WORKING ENVIRONMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At CQDM, we are committed to providing competitive employment conditions and a flexible<br>hybrid work environment.
