Subsequently, some selected projects from the CQDM portfolio were also presented, interwoven with 4 important announcements that reflect the pharmaceutical sector&#8217;s enthusiasm for the collaborative model: <a href=\"https:\/\/cqdm.orgen\/news-and-events\/amgen-becomes-a-new-member-of-cqdm-to-further-the-development-of-cutting-edge-drug-discovery\/&quot;\">Amgen<\/a> becomes a new member of CQDM, the new financial contribution of <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/cqdm.orgen\/news-and-events\/merck-canada-reaffirms-its-commitment-to-cqdm-with-a-3-5m-contribution-to-sustain-innovation-in-life-sciences\/&quot;\">Merck<\/a> and <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/cqdm.orgen\/news-and-events\/pfizer-canada-renews-its-support-to-cqdm-with-a-550000-contribution\/&quot;\">Pfizer<\/a> and the creation of the <a href=\"&quot;https:\/\/cqdm.orgen\/news-and-events\/cqdm-diazon-and-the-oncopole-in-collaboration-with-mitacs-announce-the-creation-of-a-prize-of-excellence-for-graduate-students-in-cancer-research-in-memory-of-professor-gordon-shore\/\">Gordon Shore<\/a> Prize. Then, an artificial intelligence introduction from Uwe Schoenbeck, Senior Vice President Worldwide R&amp;D and Chief Scienti\ufb01c O\ufb03cer, External Science and Innovation (ERDI), Pfizer led to a panel composed of different players of the life sciences ecosystem who raised the following question: Is Pharma ready for artificial intelligence?
